Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to replace my whole sliding glass door if it is sticking or heavy?
No. In most cases, heavy or sticking sliding glass doors are caused by worn-out steel tandem rollers or corroded tracks. We replace underlying rollers and install stainless steel track caps for a fraction of full door replacement cost.
Why won't my single-hung window stay open on its own?
This is usually caused by broken spiral or block-and-tackle window balance springs inside the window frame. We replace worn balance springs so your window stays open safely.
Are you affiliated with the full window replacement sales company?
No. We are Florida Window & Door Maintenance, Inc., a family-owned repair and maintenance contractor operating in Palm Beach County since 2007. We fix existing hardware, tracks, locks, and glass rather than selling high-cost full replacements.
